Interestring concept, though it is not really night vision. It is actually closer to the death beams concept where you see who shot you when you die.

when i origionaly came up with the idea i thought it would be something like that because doing something more complicated would be to hard if not impossible. I think that if you could do something like that one it would be cool

Is it possible fluffy?

Implemented that way it is not at all realistic and nothing like infrared goggles. A special weapon needs to be realistic, not cheesy.

Looks lke someone already mentioned, but ah well. Its possible because you can do it in AMXx. :P

In pawn it is simple. (i guess im coding challenged so i wouldnt know) But someone did it, and the amx/metamod did it, so it is possible in whatever you use to code.

If i said anything ignorant of coding conventions, forgive my ignorance and please correct me.

Now that i reread my post, it looks like gibberish doesnt it?

If you post the name of the script I will take a look at it. The only one I am aware of does it the way Humming Bird posted about:
(its in small/pawn) -> http://www.amxmodx.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=209802

you can just project selected targets that the deadm mod selects...
To which my response was:
Interesting concept, though it is not really night vision.... Implemented that way it is not at all realistic and nothing like infrared goggles. A special weapon needs to be realistic, not cheesy.
Hmm, reading that now I hope I was not too harsh on slow man. Didn't mean anything by it, I feel sad now. :cry:

Yeah that is the cheesy one Humming Bird posted about. It just puts a sprite where a player is. It is not infra red vision.

You should read http://community.deadm.com/viewtopic.php?t=258 for a description of infra-red.

yah i know what infra red is.. i just thought that so far, tech could only out a small heat signature(like that) and not the shape of a player(i think thats what you guys want?). Or am i just behind the times?
