Well, what more can describe it?

Features: Nothing big, I guess it'd replace weapon slot 3 (knife) and provide an automatic instant 1 hit melee kill. Cost 2 credits at the least. I would debate on whether to have the weapons last a map long (as a real chainsaw can last more than half an hour) I really don't see a reason why not to have it last that long.

Although I know it's already possible to gain one-hit stabs w/the knife, it makes it so you won't have to aim when knifing up front, and I guess it would make backstabbing with a powertool a lot more menacing.

Also, what good is a terrorist without a chainsaw?

Ammo could be the petrol that it uses. And sound if you hit the mouse button like a simple chainsaw sound.

there doesnt seem to be a downside to it... hm, how about have it make constant noise while its out, so if your walking around with it they will hear you but, if you have another weapon out and sneak up on someone, you can just pop it out and knife someone and kill 1 hit no matter how much hp/armor.

then again thats the first thought that came to my head... i reread this and it sounds like a bad idea lol

How about when you are not using it but you do have it in your hands it makes a softer stationairy sound. But when you have for example an ak47 in your hands and you switch to the chainsaw, you first have to start it wich simply looks like one pull at the rope and its on, that why it isn't that easy to sneak up on somebody.

also to add on to that maks some times mabee it would take more than one pull to start it because mabee it is broken or low on gas or just not warmed up

Agreed. On the low gas part, maybe to limit the gas to go along as 3 rounds or so.

wat i meant was that it shouldnt always take the same amount of pulls to start because lets face it in reality when does a chainsaw ever start on 1 pull I THINK NEVER it should be like random 1-5 pulls or something

Well, a good tuned piece of technology could start in 1 time. However, it must have it's downsides so as I already said I agree on that part. :)
But what do you think of the ammo subject?

for ammo it should be some amount of time equals some about of ammo or it could be swings/revs, kinda like the flame thrower when u swing it it revs causing the use of more gass taking away 1 ammo point.

i love that idea cause i wanted like a close combat weapon and well i couldnt think of anything.
Also its uniqe so it dosnt copy anything basically what im syaing is FLUFF YOU NEED TO DO THIS

Well I looked for player models of a chainsaw, but so far have not found any. If any one can find one for CS 1.6, go ahead and post the location here.

ok well i found a chainsaw skin but its for sven coop so i was wondering if you could take the skin some how and put it in CS
Also i found a fish skin for cs knife but thats point less lol

Email the link and we will see. Yeah, the fish is a lot of places, so is the tea cup, and board with a nail in it. The fish and Nail Board were almost special weapons, but they were just not cool enough.

fish would be good if it was thrown and nail board would be good if it stayed on the person it hit
