Respawn?

Building on FlyingPanda's topic, why not have an option that the server can vote for respawn or not? Surely most non-fun maps (talking of dust/office/aztec etc) would be good to have some respawn on there after a server reboot. Also I'm aware of that having respawn will greatly affect player stats, which is why I would ask would it be too much to get a seperate respawn stat tracker, or would it still have an overall affect on stats?
