about server spamming

i am one of those people who likes to talk (typeing) when i play. if i talk too much i get kicked. soo why do we have the server spamming filter if all ur doing is talking to other people? i just dont get it...

if you send x amount of messages over a period of time it will identify it as spamming ( no matter what you type ) this time period i believe is only a few seconds which should be hard to activate unless the text is bound to a button or

otherwise it shouldn't be a problem <-- i may be wrong about the events needed to activate the spam filter cause i did not have anything to do with the programing or settings for the spam filter, just speculation.

This process is when I press y to "say" and just enter without typing anything.
This has gotten me kicked.
I say justice.

Also I would love to fight this program.
and murder their family too.

Sending empty say messages can get you kicked for spamming. The reason is even if you do not type anything a message is still sent to the server. So it is possible to spam the server with empty messages.

I have made some adjustments to make the Anti-spam filter a little bit less sensitive.

Yea, its normally not a problem, until I go on some Meow Mix sprees... But lately I have just gotten the "do not spam the server" messages with my first message. It just shows the message, theres no wait to say something and no kickings... just the annoying popups! Anyway, and idea?

The spam filter was changed. When you spam it warns you. If you ignore the warnings it kicks you. It no longers has a timeout period where you can't speak.

I don't like that change that much then. Sometimes if you are doing something like responding with "ya" or something short, u might say things quickly. A kick might be a little too much. However, there might be problems with this system. The warning will sometime occur the first time I talk since joining. No kicking has happened tho, thankfully.
