My mic doesnt Work

My mic doesnt Work

I have ventrilo and my mic stopped working ingame once I got it, but basically I have checked all the options and all of them are on correctly but when I press my button when I have vent on the talking icon doesnt show up and it does the same thing if I have vent off.... Help?

format your computer.. reinstall xp and reinstall steam
works for me

I don't know how to fix it. I''ve used ventrilo myself to and never had that problem. Maybe ventrilo has some forums you can check for this kind of problem

I've been gagged for a week and since I got ungagged my mike does'nt work ... any suggestions ?

After a gag, you have a 90 day mute. So after 3 months you are able to use your microphone again on deadm.
