Help with Mic

Postby blazer » Fri Mar 05, 2004 11:22 pm

I have v bound for voice. I have a decent headset. When I press v, my voice cycles on and off. If you watch the sign as to who is talking it is cycling on and off also. I've tried about everything I know to fix it, but it still happens. Any suggestions or help would be great.

Two questions:

- Describes the steaps you used to bind the command to the key

- What is the uplink speed of your internet connect. Disjointed speach is normally caused by low uplink capacity.

OK,,
the bind command is in my config file. the command is:

bind "v" "+voicerecord"

As to speed: I have a cable modem...really fast...don't think speed is problem.
