MIC PROBLEMS...MORE DETAILS

Postby blazer » Sun Nov 21, 2004 2:29 pm

OK, here is my setup for voice....

In cs options, in keyboard tab, for use voice communications, v is the bind.

In config I have the following commands:

voice_dsound "1"
voice_enable "1"
voice_loopback "1"
voice_forcemicrecord "1.000000"
voice_modenable "1"
voice_scale "1.000000"

When I press v, my name flashes on and off and my voice breaks up with the flashes.

The mic works (headset). I've tested it with other applications, and everything is OK. It's just cs that doesn't work. It must be my settings, but I don't know which. Any help would be great.
Peace

hmm you may not have a full-duplex sound card. Check the info about your card and driver to make sure they support full duplex (playing audio and recording audio at the same time).

Hmmmz... The first time I had a mic was with CS 1,5. The settings were unchanged but my mic didn't work. I found the problem in a simple corner.. Windows Sound setting. I had to click a little button wich made it work. Don't know if it will help you but you can give it a try.
