Yesterday i had 35 creds.. now i have 1 and i didnt soend any! grim reported the same problem...

Don't worry, I checked your credits are safe in Database. The code has a number of safe guards to prevent people actually loosing any credits.

As for what happened I am not sure. It appears the company hosting the database has changed something in the database (looks like they upgraded it). For some reason the Database is no longer talking to the DMS Mod. ](*,)

I will look into the issue and see if we can get it fixed.

I just uploaded a fix for this issue. Everything should be working correctly.

It appears what happened is when the provider upgraded the database they did not enable all the authentication mechanisms. This prevented the DMS mod from connecting to the database to display/update credits, rank, etc.

Looks like there was also a change to the way session timeouts are handled (it worked for the first map but not later maps). :oops:

It all should be working correctly now.

just a question though , Did you made some changes on the special weapon ( is that how it made the ranks and creds mess up )? because i just saw the
" Buy_weapon " option and i saw the armors cheap. flame armor is 2.00 and blast is 10.00 credits

No, the last change I made to the special weapons was on Feb 10, 2007 to correct a bug in heat seekers.

The credit/rank problem was caused by the Database Hosting company upgrading the Database and changing the way it was configured. As describes by my post:

Flame armor has been 2 credits and blast has been 10 credits for at least 2 years.

last i checked.... No. flame was four the first (and only) time i bought it. And haven't been playing the server for two years

Although blast is ten.

I just checked software control (the history of all modifications to the software). The last modification to the price of armor was on 8/21/2004. Since that date it has been 2&10.

On that date Blast armor went from 12 credits to 10 credits. Flame armor has always been 2 credits (to make it a cheap deterrent to flame throwers).

All this has happen again , not just credits , when checked my rank it was 1607(3?). all of the creds i earned is now 1. *i'm just letting you know as always*
(nvm , this only happen on 1 map, when it changed it got fix :lol:
