The machine gun in de_flatout is very weak..

No it is a 1 shot 1 kill weapon Maks.

Could have rockets (like RPG's) fired from the chopper. Maybe get 4 a round with a max of 20 before you have to buy more.

So... the machine gun wouldn't be an option at all... cuz i doubt it would kill you at once.

hmm.. If it will be 1 shot 1 kill there shouldn't be a machine gun right?? :?

But what about the defence of the helicopter... how strong will it be and can it be distracted some how... by making it malfunction

Edit: I'm sorry if I'm spamming somehow but I just like to discuss and are excited about this idea. :oops:

The counter measures depend on the what weapons the helicopter has. For moltov cocktails it would be flame armor.

And blast armor for the C4 right? But how about it if you got an heatseeker... could it shoot down the helictoper??

ooooo, good question. Yes I could give the helicopter a heat signature that would attract missiles. Now that could be FUNNY watching missles chase the helicopter around.

The copter could at least be shot at by normal guns the same way as dew grenades.

But the chopper's alloi (dunno if i spell it correctly) will be harder right? Because if you give it one or 2 shots it down already... :?

And how many choppers do you get if you buy it?

Yes we can give it some good hit points. I was thinking you would get 1 helicopter per round. Only the ammo for its weapon(s) would be limited.

That way if you run out of ammo you can still use it as a remote camera.

How about this, if you don't have ammo.. or don't want to buy it anymore, could you crash it on someone so there will go some health points off him. So it can still be effective as a weapon... ??

I dont think a remote controlled helicopter hitting you would do much damage to you. The helicopter would be hurt worse I would think. 8)

The speed of the helicopter maybe? Because, if the heli is faster then a heat seeker, you at least have a change by not being hitted (? weird sentence :?)) And then its easy to overtake a enemy.

(Omg, I used the dictionary a lot for this post, so I don't know if its all right :?)
