- The weapon is based on real world technology and in theory should be possible. Some fanciful assumptions may be made, like combining two real technologies to get a weapon. In general the weapon would not contain items like phasers, death rays, freeze rays, killing lasers, etc.
- The weapon has another weapon or device that can defeat it. Some examples are:
- - Flame armor defeats the flame thrower.
- Flares confuse heat seeking devices.
- The weapon gives the user a distinct advantage over other players in some aspect of the game play. The weapon has to be worth spending credits on.
- The weapon is a unique creation and not a copy of another game or mod.
