is it just me or is steam lagging really badly?

i'm getting steady 300-1000 ping. either steam is lagging or someone is taking all my bandwidth at this hotel!

u ppl just need to get 1337 comps with lights and lots of ram with fast cpu

as a matter of fact i do got a leet comp with lights and lots of ram and a fast proc. oh yeah and one of the best vid cards.

lol. i have a 1337 comp with lights (That come from the computer screen) but I don't have a ram.... I don't think my parents would let me have one in the house

seems as tho someone in the hotel is taking all my bandwidth. funny thing is all their files are on the local network. so i can look around on their comps.

the defenition of bandwidth is as follows : The amount of data that can be transmitted in a fixed amount of time. For digital devices, the bandwidth is usually expressed in bits per second(bps) or bytes per second. For analog devices, the bandwidth is expressed in cycles per second, or Hertz (Hz).
