AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!

This is getting really annoying. i try to go into deadman i'm in for about 20 seconds then i get kicked and the reason says "you must use the opengl renderer to play this map." i've checked my video options and the opengl renderer is the one i'm using but it won't let me in. i haven't had this problem with any other server. so can someone please tell me what's going on?

When you first open Options/Video (without making any changes) what render does it say you are using?

OpenGL and that's why it's confusing me so much. sorry if it was unclear but it's just kinda annoying
