yeh um sum guy messaged me with like steam something admin or so and it asked me for my account name and pass and iw as like ok admin i gotta give my acc name and pass or else i get baned and i gave it to him and he changed my pass and logged me off

Yeah, NEVER do that. If you have some sort of proof of purchase for your games you can contact valve support about it.

I had someone try that with me. I sent his info to Valve, though I doubt they did anything about it.

kane sent me a funny thing about that where one guy tries to hack someone but instead the guy hacks him back. if u ever go on anymore kane, can u post that?

someone named autameted system message tried to do that to me but i told him that he was a ***hole and a loser with no life that just hacks steam accts and eats twinkies and in a second message i told him that o btw i just sent ur info to the REAL steam admins

he logged off and around 5 mins later loged on changed his name and logged off again

Ok this seems to need to be said. NEVER EVER EVER EVER, give your username/password/CD Key to anyone. Even if they claim they are trying to help. Especially if they contact you.

Accounts created prior to 2005 were created using CD keys. Valve considers those keys as proof of purchase. That site just wants to get the keys so they can hijack the accounts.

Just a note. Deadly says he just got his account back after it was hacked. He had to present valve with a credit card number he used to purchase some games.
