More Admins

We need more admins on the server, Drunk has seemed to disappeared and Semper Fi has done just about the same until today. There are quite a few people that use foul language on the server constantly with no worries about punishment. The fact that today a player who has been spamming music on his mic for over 30 minutes, and pretending to be an admin would be a good reason why.

Also today the server dropped majority of the players on the server twice, and the htlv proxy is gone. Just something you might wanna know.

So what time of day or night have you guys been playing. Have not seen u on in a while. In the future if someone doing bad things just note time, date and name and send email to admin@deadm.com.

As hit me said, reporting the offenders will get them dealt with. Often when a problem is happening just mention in chat what the problem is and who is causing it (ex: Grim please do not spam the mic) and I will look into it.

Unfortunately a thunderstorm brought my net down so I was unable to monitor the server. It was also the cause of HLTV going offline.


As for the kicking, did that by chance happen while you were trying, "To Play Like Crow?" I assume by dropping your update rate?

That i only did for a few minutes, it was just a joke anyway. We got dropped a few maps later on, i dont remember exactly when. It was on the fun_allinone map.

I wasnt the only one dropped either, everyone on the server except for 1 person on each team.

Kane was trying to play laggy like crow does. I assume he was simulating lag by reducing FPS or update rate. The server kick is caused when a client (player) can not keep up with "Reliable" packets issued by the server.

It causes that client's buffer to over-flow and everyone getting updated after that client gets kicked because they are out of sync with the server.

MORE ADMINS IN DEADM WOULD DEFFINITLY BE A GOOD IDEA ESPICALLY WITH SEMPER NOLONGER BEING ADMIN AND DRUNK BEING IN ALASKA

yeah more admins would be useful but if you read the admins post fluffy has rules about them you have to play on the server a lot and even if you fulfill the requirements you may not end up being an admin. but if fluffy would allow more admins i wouldn't complain however the admins should be fair and not abuse their privaledges. furthermore if fluffy should chose admins i think those admins should be hand selected by fluffy or hitme instead of randomly chosen but in another case redarmy hasn't been on either he's still an admin but i haven't seen him on the server

yeah there needs to be more admins alot of bad stuff that your not suppose to do on server happens alot and most of the time admins are never there to stop and people to the person to stop and they don't.

ya it seems when ever theres not an admin there someone starts mic spamming or curseing over the mic or typing curses with *s in them to get around the gag filter

well some of that problem is that they are just too lazy to read the server rules... but anyways. more admins would be a help/improvement

i dont mind being an admin but im not on that offten, only 2hrs every day, sometimes more.

- Has the player ever asked to be admin. I have found people eager to be admin make the worst admins. They tend to be on power trips.
