I think that you shouldn't be able to buy other weapons on an awp map it makes no sense what so ever so if you cna disable buy on them.

The buy is determined by the map, meaning the person that created the map (for what ever reason) intentionally put the buy zones in. But I agree it can be annoying.

I have thought about this, but removing entities from a map is not simplistic.

Meh, with everyone awping, to rush with an m4 or ak or something would be suicide, so it shouldn't upset the balance at all or anything.

it wouldn't be suicide because you have one shot to hit the guy and ,most of the time its very easy to sneak around the awpers and kill them all with a knife :p

Awp maps tend to be larger, so you would have plenty of time to awp the guy rushing with ak. As for the sneaking around, if you get the jump on someone, you should be able to kill them reguardless of whether or not you have an automatic.

Maybe you were playing a smaller awp map... which I really don't like. Either that or the awpers you were playing really sucked haha.
