Though it is mentioned on the web site I thought I would post about it here also. We have a new server online: dc.deadm.com.

It is the same as the Phenix server, so credits, stats, etc are the same across all servers. Phenix will eventually go offline. I don't know the exact date yet, but it will prob either be March or April 23, 2007.

Why the change? Phenix has been having continuous lag issues and the hosting company seems incapable of addressing them. As a result I am getting a new hosting company.

We may experiment with servers in other locations also.

just a question...Is it running on a dedicated server?

The DC server is a HL Dedicated Server, but it is not the only process running on the box. The box has multiple 3.0 Ghz Xeon's with 4 gigs of memory. It runs from 3%-5% load, so there is plenty of room for us to play.

The D.C. server appears stable so the move to D.C. should happen Thursday March 23, 2007.

The Phenix server will go off line then.

Awesome, I'm pumped for some gaming without lag. Hopefully it brings up the numbers too.
